No matter who you are, you probably feel pretty squished when sitting on a plane seat, but if Wizards center Marcin Gortat is able to do so, nobody else should be having issues.
According to ESPN, the Polish Hammer is 6’11, and weighs 240 pounds. That’s one big dude trying to fit into an airplane seat that even kids don’t want to spend time in.
Some may question how Gortat was able to fit in the seat, but he wasn’t even the biggest person on the flight who had to find a way to squeeze in. The whole Polish national team was on the plane, so that means Przemek Karnowski, current 7’1 Gonzaga center that weighs 271 pounds, had to also find a way to manage in the small space.
Lady from polish airlines told me I will be fine! Sweet me and @PKarnowski next to each other in the plane!! #polandpic.twitter.com/rR80uCeA0l

Even though Gortat was able to fit, the duration of the flight must have been pretty short. His knees were right against the seat in front of him, so as long as they didn’t press the button to lean back, there shouldn’t have been any problems.
