Texas and Oklahoma joining the SEC isn’t the only topic of conversation within college football circles. This week, longtime radio show host Paul Finebaum has renewed his contract with ESPN. Movin forward, Finebaum will continue to host his radio show, The Paul Finebaum Show, and he will contribute to SEC Network broadcasts. Details regarding his pay and the length of his extension were not shared by ESPN.
“I’m excited to continue our show on SEC Network and be part of the talented team at ESPN,” Finebaum said.
“One of my favorite things about this role is connecting with our listeners, and I’m truly looking forward to bringing our show to campuses again this fall. Especially over the past year, I’ve gotten a firsthand look at what our show means to those who tune in every day, and it’s a responsibility I’m honored to have.”
The worldwide leader in sports has also reached a multi-year contract extension with Joey Galloway. In the coming months, Galloway will continue to appear on College Football Live, SportsCenter and the College Football Playoff: Top 25 Rankings Show.
“Joey is one of our most experienced analysts and he’ll continue to deliver invaluable insight throughout our college football coverage,” Lee Fitting of ESPN added.
“Whether it’s analytical or with strong opinion, Joey has become a valued voice across our studio programming over the past decade.”
ESPN will kick off its myriad of college football broadcasts at the end of August.
