Chris Bosh’s blood clotting returned again last month. Whether or not Bosh will return this season has been a topic up for debate. Dwyane Wade and other Heat players have expressed optimism that Bosh will return, but Bosh has reportedly been receiving pressure from the team and physicians to sit out the remainder of the season.
Bosh is now working out with the team’s training staff, which could be indicative of him returning this season.
From Ira Winderman of South Florida Sun Sentinel:
Miami Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said Sunday that those sessions are coming away from the team’s players.
“Not necessarily with the team. But, yeah, he’ll work out with the staff,” Spoelstra said before the Heat faced the Philadelphia 76ers at AmericanAirlines Arena. “He’s staying engaged and he’s in great spirits. And that never surprised me with C.B.”
This Heat team has stepped up in a major way since the All-Star Break, particularly Goran Dragic and Hassan Whiteside. The team has actually been better since Bosh’s injury, but Bosh is an immensely talented player, and a great teammate. Now that his supporting cast has improved, the Heat could be a scary team to face in the playoffs if Bosh returns.
