The Oklahoma City Thunder were active at the trade deadline, making a late trade to get Doug McDermott and Taj Gibson.
They will be receiving some extra reinforcements, as well, this time in the form of a return from one of their own players:
On top of Thunder getting McBuckets/Gibson, OKC expecting Enes Kanter (fractured right forearm) to return to the lineup Friday vs. Lakers.

Kanter injured himself about a month ago after punching a chair in frustration.
This is obviously huge news for the Thunder. With Cameron Payne departing in the Bulls trade, OKC does not have much of a backup point guard. Kanter’s return will make him the hub of the offense off the bench.
On the season, Kanter has averaged 14.4 points and 6.7 rebounds per game while shooting 56.3 percent from the field.
As the Thunder get ready to make a final push into the playoffs, they need all hands on deck. Russell Westbrook has carried the team all season, but he will need some support in the playoffs if they are to have a successful postseason. Enes Kanter can help with that, even if it will only be on the offensive end of the court.
