Ed Sheeran scores third top album with latest release No. 6 Collaborations debuting at No. 1 on Billboard charts.
The album which features over a dozen guest artists earns the top spot on Billboard’s 200 chart. According to Billboard, No. 6 Collaborations earned 173,000 equivalent album units in the United States with 70,000 in pure album sales marking the largest week for a male pop artist in 2019.
Billboard continues to report Ed Sheeran’s No. 1 album was earned by simply selling the music. The achievement was made without a tour or merchandise bundles. Most numbers result directly from album sales through sellers like Target, Walmart, Amazon, and iTunes.
Following behind Ed Sheeran is Billie Eilish with When We Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? and, Dreamville’s Revenge of the Dreamers III at No. 2 and No. 3 respectively.
