Dwyane Wade is returning to the NBA Finals, sort of. The three-time champion who has played in five finals, including the previous four straight with LeBron James and the Heat, will join ABC’s coverage of the NBA Finals the Associated Press reports.
“(Wade) will join ESPN on ABC for pregame and halftime shows during Games 2 and 3 of the Cleveland-Golden State series. Wade also will have the same arrangement for Games 6 and 7 if those games are played.”
Like his former teammates and current Cleveland Cavaliers LeBron James and James Jones, Wade will be “appearing” in his fifth straight NBA Finals, this time though he’ll have a microphone and be in a suit.
Wade can opt out of his contract with the Heat this summer, and there are reports that he may not return to the only team he has played for during his NBA career.
Could Wade possibly be scouting out a team he might be playing for next season?
