After only 34 games, center Dewayne Dedmon is headed back to the Atlanta Hawks from the Sacramento Kings. As reported by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Dedmon and two second-round draft picks are headed to Atlanta in exchange for Alex Len and Jabari Parker.

Dedmon made known his wishes to leave the Kings and was subsequently fined $50,000 by the NBA. Getting his wish, Dedmon will now return to the Hawks, where he made 126 appearances and averaged over 10 points and 6 rebounds per game between 2017 and 2019. This move comes only one day after news broke that the Hawks are also acquiring former Houston Rockets center Clint Capela.
For the Kings, adding Jabari Parker and Alex Len will maintain size and depth for their team as they look to move closer to a Western Conference playoff berth, with the team currently only sitting 13th in the West.
