It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know that Drake’s forthcoming fourth studio album, Views From The 6, serves as one of the most anticipated releases of 2016. Now, as Drake has officially confirmed the release date of April 29, the rapper confirmed just what many were thinking as it was revealed that the album will be an Apple Music exclusive. With that information, fans of the rapper who may find themselves subscribed to other streaming services, or none at all, have been left wondering just how long they would have to wait to hear the album for themselves.
Well, good news pours in as Buzzfeed has reported that Views From The 6 will serve as an Apple Music exclusive for one week. This makes good news for many reasons as plenty of fans will not suffer from the same result that was issued when Kanye West only allowed his latest album, The Life Of Pablo, to only be streamed on TIDAL. Also, it works out better commercially as the more streaming platforms that have the album allow for better chart performance from those listens. After dropping off new records, ‘Pop Style‘ and ‘One Dance,’ we’re more than eager just to hear what Drake has came up with. Roll on April 29.
