One of Drake’s wishes for the month of October was for his smash hit single, ‘Hotline Bling,’ to reach the peak of the Billboard Hot 100. Thanks to a mishandled video release, if you ask me, Drake’s wish did not come true and the record was held off by The Weeknd’s ‘The Hills’ and now Adele’s ‘Hello.’ That aside, ‘Hotline Bling’ still gave Drake other career milestones as the record has officially become Drake’s 13th No. 1 record atop of Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, as revealed by Billboard. If that wasn’t enough, that now puts Drake alongside the likes of Michael Jackson and Marvin Gaye who also share 13 No. 1s on the respective chart. Still at a high point in his career, there’s a great possibility that Drake will go on to past these legends and receive more records at the peak of this chart within his career. With his next studio album on the way, don’t be surprised if this happens much sooner than later.
