This is what winning looks like, or just one of many versions of it. Thus far, Drake has had a pretty great year and he hasn’t even release his highly anticipated album, Views From The 6. Aside from some highly publicized ghostwriting allegations, the ‘Legend’ rapper has let his music do all the talking. Holding fans over until the release of his next LP, Drake released If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late back in February. Fast-forward to August and it has been announced that Drake holds the honor of being the first 2015 release to reach platinum status. Crossing the 1 million tally this past week with 8,000 copies sold, this achievement is a true testament of the fan base of he Canadian rapper and signifies the relevance he holds with the general public. To put it simply, there’s not stopping Drake in this moment. It’s his time.
