Not that this comes as a surprise to anyone, Drake and Future are set to debut with huge numbers on next week’s Billboard Top 200 album chart. Officially releasing on iTunes yesterday evening at 8 PM EST, What A Time To Be Alive was at a disadvantage compared to others who stuck as Friday releases as planned. That “disadvantage” was nothing that the popularity of Drake and Future couldn’t solve as the duo soared atop of the iTunes charts merely hours after What A Time To Be Alive was released. According to early predictions, Drake & Future could see opening numbers of 500K or more in sales.

With streaming not yet included in these numbers, the “mixtape” is surely set for one of the largest debuts of 2015. As Drake’s If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late opened with 535,000 and Future’s DS2 with 151,000, this collaborative project will make for the second No. 1 debut for both rappers in 2015. Fitting enough, it’s surely a great time to be alive for these two.
