Without a doubt, Drake has a lot to be smiling about right now. In the past few weeks, there’s been nothing but good news surrounding the rapper/singer as he has went on to release his latest studio album, Views, debuted with 1 million SPS, and now there’s even more accomplishments coming his way. With this week’s Billboard Hot 100 chart being unveiled, it appears that Drake’s infectious hit, ‘One Dance,’ has dethroned Desiigner’s ‘Panda’ and officially becomes the No. 1 record in the country. Bigger than that, ‘One Dance’ marks Drake’s first No. 1 single as a solo artist as he’s previously hit No. 1 thanks to Rihanna’s ‘What’s My Name’ and ‘Work.’ The rapper even goes as far as breaking Bieber’s previous Billboard record for male artists as 20 records make their Hot 100 debut this week, as reported by Billboard.

Elsewhere in the Hot 100, Rihanna and Calvin Harris make a hefty chart splash as their new collaboration, ‘This Is What You Came For,’ debuts at No. 9. Dominant girl group, Fifth Harmony, becomes the first girl group of this decade to reach the Hot 100 top 5 as ‘Work From Home’ rises to No. 5. As always, nothing is ever promised on the charts, so expect a shakeup in the weeks ahead.
