
Whether you’ve heard her a million and one times in NBA 2k, or love her on the sideline commentating your favorite NBA game, Doris Burke is one of the growing basketball personalities on TV, and for that reason, you will be seeing and hearing her a lot more next year. According to Richard Deitsch of Sports Illustrated, Doris Burke will become a fully regular ESPN NBA Game Analyst, which will allow her to be given more assignments:

Burke has been in broadcasting since 1990, and has been working with ESPN tirelessly since 1997, when she joined to the be the voice of the WNBA team the New York Liberty. Now she will be receiving an even larger role in their NBA department. As one of the first women voices in the NBA, Doris has become a vocal leader for women in sports, which makes this just another advancement in equality in sports.
