Blumhouse Productions are at it again. Over the last decade, Jason Blum’s production company has become one of the premier destinations for off the wall thrillers and their fans. Since 2014, the company’s put their money behind celebrated films such as Whiplash, Split, and maybe their biggest release of the decade, Get Out.
Get ready to add another film to that list as Don’t Let Go, the company’s upcoming time-bending murder mystery, released its first trailer on Wednesday.
The trailer shows David Oyelowo’s Jack Radcliff as he mourns the loss of family in a brutal triple murder. Things take a turn for the macabre when he receives a call from his supposedly deceased niece Ashley, played by Storm Reid. Somehow, Ashley is calling Jack across time from before the murders. It’s then a race against time for Jack to discover the killer’s identity so he can stop the horrible killings from ever happening.

Don’t Let Go hits theaters on August 30th, 2019.
