The Lion King remake is less than a month away and Disney is firing up the hype machine. So far, they haven’t really shown too much of the movie. There’s been a few trailers and teasers but the House of Mouse is relying pretty heavily on nostalgia. And let me tell you, it’s working.
This week, a new TV spot was revealed though where they finally give us a taste of one of cinema’s greatest duets. The teaser itself doesn’t show much we haven’t already seen but it’s set to ‘Can You Feel the Love Tonight,’ as sung by Beyoncé and Donald Glover. I could try and explain how incredible it sounds but I think I’ll just shut up and let you hear for yourselves.

Glover and Beyoncé play Simba and Nala, respectively. The absolutely STACKED cast also features Seth Rogen, Alfre Woodard, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Billy Eichner, John Kani, Eric Andre, Florence Kasumba, JD McCrary, John Oliver, Shahadi Wright Joseph, and Keegan-Michael Key. And, for the cherry on top, James Earl Jones is reprising his role as Mufasa.
The Lion King hits theaters on July 18th.
