It may be hard to believe, but we’re rapidly approaching the four-year anniversary of SZA’s debut album, CTRL. While we’re waiting for another album from the New Jersey native, she has been picking up her release schedule as of late. Late last year, she hopped out with one of the best videos of the year with “Hit Different” featuring Ty Dolla $ign. At the top of the new year, she followed up with the release of “Good Days” featuring Jacob Collier. In the process of pushing out “Good Days,” she also teased her next single, “Bloodstain.” While we wait for her next solo release, she offered a surprise guest appearance on another big record.
SZA has offered her vocals to Doja Cat’s next single, “Kiss Me More.” It is the latest teaser for Doja Cat’s upcoming album and her latest era, Planet Her. During an interview last month, the pop star described the single as a “different strut” when compared to her previous work.
“It’s people that I respect and I’m extremely excited about having on the album and it’s a full-circle moment for me, basically,” Doja Cat told SZA.
“Just knowing that I have you on it is just sexy. It’s perfect. I feel confident.”
“Kiss Me More” sets the stage for what will be a number of major releases for Doja Cat this year. Check out the full project below.
