When discussing the state of rap in the Midwest, the state of Ohio is often overlooked. Nevertheless, rising artists like Wise and Big Into have garnered buzz. Not to mention, more established like Trippie Redd and Kid Cudi continue to find success. With that said, no Ohio artist has been talked about more this week than Doe Boy. Coming out Cleveland, Ohio, the rapper has worked alongside Future, 21 Savage, Young Thug and other stars. Now, he’s here to deliver his own project.
After months of anticipation, Doe Boy has delivered his latest body of work, Oh Really. Containing 19 tracks, Oh Really features guest appearances from Lil’ Uzi Vert, Roddy Ricch, Nardo Wick, G Herbo, Moneybagg Yo, G Herbo, Rowdy Rebel and several others. The project also includes standout production from ATL Jacob.
This might not be the only new music we hear from Doe Boy this year. In a recent interview, he teased a collaboration with Drake.
“You never know. Any day now, it might surface. Drake has been f*cking with me for years. It wasn’t rushed or forced. I could’ve been asked him for a song,” he explained.
“[Drake] wanted me to hop on a specific song like, ‘I got this for you.’ I came out there, went to his house, and laid down a verse.”
While we wait for the inevitable Drake and Doe Boy collaboration, check out Oh Really below.
