Nas may be inching toward his 49th birthday this fall, but he is showing no signs of slowing down in what many describe as a “young man’s game.” In addition to advancing his career as an entrepreneur and investor, the Queensbridge native has ended a six-year album hiatus by delivering four projects in just over three years. While Nas has been fairly quiet throughout much of the year, it doesn’t mean that he has not been working.
DJ Premier excited a number of his fans and peers when he took to Twitter to share a short video on Twitter. While the legendary producer didn’t appear in the video himself, it did appear that the 11-second clip included audio of Nas rapping over his production. The post’s caption reads, “7/15 @Nas.”
It’s unclear if DJ Premier was alluding to a single or an entire project. Either way, it’s exciting to see two of Hip-Hop’s most legendary figures in the studio. Check out the clip below.
