This Friday, DJ Khaled will return with a new body of work called God Did. Leading up to the project’s release, the Miami, Florida-based hitmaker has released the “Staying Alive” video with Drake and Lil’ Baby. In addition, he has teased a collaboration with Jay-Z while also sharing behind-the-scenes footage of music videos featuring Quavo, Takeoff, Nardo Wick and Kodak Black among others. Today, he continued to promote the release of his latest studio album by unveiling the God Did cover.
The cover of DJ Khaled’s God Did was unveiled earlier today via Instagram. Similar to previously released projects, DJ Khaled’s God Did is covered by a photo of the producer. This time around, he is photographed looking up at the sky as a singular tear falls from his right eye.
“The tear represents tears of joy from God’s blessings. God, I love you so much,” he explained.
Thank you, God for blessing my family, my friends and my fans. When nobody believed, you did! I praise you daily. We’re here to do God’s work.”
DJ Khaled is not only excited and confident about what he is set to unleash this Friday, but he’s also proud of the work he has put out in the past. During a recent appearance on Drink Champs, he said that he believes he’d beat anyone in his class in a Verzuz battle.
“I mean, that’s facts,” he said.
“I always said that. I’m never backing down on that talk.”
On Friday, he will have another opportunity to add a few hits to his Verzuz repertoire. Until then, check out the God Did cover below.
