More than 15 years after releasing Listennn… the Album under the Terror Squad banner, DJ Khaled has released his 13th studio album, God Did. The 18-track project is littered with contributions from some of the greatest artists of the last two decades, including Drake, Eminem, Dr. Dre, Lil’ Wayne and Jay-Z among others. God Did also highlights some of today’s most successful stars like Future, SZA, Lil’ Baby, Travis Scott and Roddy Ricch just to name a few. Not to mention, there’s a posthumous nod to the late Juice WRLD along with tributes to his family and faith.
“To get to a 13th album is, like, beyond incredible for me,” DJ Khaled told Billboard about his 13th studio album.
“The greats that I look up to, when I see how many albums they put out, I’m on the right track. And I know how hard it is to be in this game — some people can’t make it past their first single or their first album.”
God Did serves as the follow-up to his 2021 studio LP, Khaled Khaled. Released on April 30, 2021, the project featured Jay-Z, Nas, Justin Timberlake, Drake, Lil’ Wayne Justin Bieber, Post Malone and Cardi B along with several other superstars. Khaled Khaled debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 Chart and eventually went platinum.
Building upon the success of Khaled Khaled, the chart-topping hitmaker has appeared on Fivio Foreign’s debut studio album, B.I.B.L.E, and Latto’s “Big Energy” remix in 2022. Now, he’s ready to step out on his own with his solo work. Check out God Did below.
