DJ Khaled is gearing up to release his upcoming studio album, God Did. In preparation for his upcoming LP, the chart-topping producer has announced that he will release the project’s first single, “Staying Alive,” on Friday.
The upcoming single is expected to feature Drake and Lil’ Baby. While the two stars haven’t appeared on a DJ Khaled track together before, they have delivered standout records like “Yes, Indeed” and “Wants and Needs” before.
DJ Khaled is also teasing another collaboration. This week, he revealed another feature on the album via Instagram.
“Hov did,” he wrote.
“Hov’s vocals [are] in! Wow…wow! God Did [is] coming soon! Hov love forever.”
A number of his fans were understandably excited about the collaboration, including SZA, Shyne and Fabolous.
“Oh, my f*cking God,” SZA wrote.
DJ Khaled hasn’t revealed when the final album will arrive, but the release of “Staying Alive” and the announcement of a Jay-Z record is a massive step in the right direction. While we wait for the track and visual to drop, check out the “Staying Alive” teaser below.
