Seven years after its original release, Capcon will be releasing a Special Edition of Devil May Cry 4 this summer. DmC 4’s Special Edition will be seeing new visual improvements, new modes and more playable characters.
For the first time in the series, gamers will be able to play as Lady, Vergil, Trish, Nero and Dante. Vergil’s interpretation will be that of his appearance in Devil May Cry 3: Awakening Special Edition with a few new elements. Lady style will be more based on long ranged fighting as she specializes in firearms. Trish will be skilled at using the Sparda sword.
DmC developers also have implemented new costumes which in fact will translate into cutscenes. What this means is that whatever costume you choose to equip on your character is the costume that will be shown in said cutscene. In previous games most cutscenes were written without the thought of another costume being worn by a player, so kudos to the debs on this one.
The new mode being added to the game is called, “Legendary Dark Knight Mode”. This mode will be like a survival, putting the user up against numerous amounts of enemies.
