For the R&B fan on the internet constantly searching for something reminiscent of the early 200s, Destin Conrad may just have what you’re looking for. His debut album, Love On Digital, is a celebration of all things that emerged in R&B and Soul at the dawn of the new millennium.
“This album is a nod to the digital age of RnB. The early 2000s when new software was created that allowed for music to move from fully instrumental to digital sounds – the bee bee boops,” he said about his new project.
Not only is the production a reflection of the limitless potential and creativity that new software and technology offered musicians during the 2000s, but the album also lyrically reflects the freedom and opportunity of the time. Through songs like “Bad B*tches” featuring Kehlani and “The Last Time” featuring Teezo Touchdown, he seamlessly captures the desire, lust, freedom, fun and self-love of the era.
Love On Digital may be Destin Conrad’s debut album, but it’s far from his first standout project. Within the last five years, he’s consistently delivered great music to his fans with the release of Submissive, Submissive II, Colorway and Satin. Hailing from the Sunshine State, Destin Conrad is undoubtedly one of the brightest young stars in music today.
