Taking a break from the hurricane that Queen Bey has caused, it’s time to check in on just what singles have made their mark on this week’s Billboard Hot 100 chart. Just last week, we saw records from Desiigner, Fifth Harmony, and more continue to rise up the charts while Rihanna kept the No. 1 spot nice and warm as with her catchy smash single, ‘Work.’ Now, things have changed this week as the man of the hour, Desiigner, has even more to celebrate as Billboard reports that his debut single, ‘Panda,’ has officially went No. 1 on the Hot 100 chart. Being the first of many accomplishments on the music side of things from the rapper, this success is all before the release of his first body of work.
Not to be left out, Drake sees even more success as his new Summer-flavored single, ‘One Dance,’ lands in the top 3. The likes of Fifth Harmony and Ty Dolla $ign continue to see success as they rise up the chart as ‘Work From Home’ see a new peak at No. 6. Rihanna’s previous No. 1 single still holds onto a spot in the top 5 as ‘Work’ is No. 4 this week. With an onslaught of Prince singles and new Beyonce records currently dominating iTunes, there will definitely be another shake up in next week’s lineup.
