G.O.O.D Music is on a run! Pusha T ended the month of May with the release of Daytona and “The Story of Adidon“. Kanye kicked off the month of June with the release of Ye. Desiigner has now jumped in to the fun with the release of the video for his song, “Hood”. Desiigner’s “Hood” is the last track off of his Life of Desiigner project that he released back in April.
The record itself is an emotional record with Desiigner addressing the trials and tribulations of growing up in his hood in Brooklyn. Desiigner tells us, “I know n*ggas gettin’ bodied in they own hood/N*ggas lost they life in that childhood/And I don’t wanna lose my life/And I don’t wanna lose, and I don’t wanna lose.” The video itself is a snapshot of what it was like for Desiigner growing up in New York City. The video kicks off with Desiigner visiting his old neighborhood, talking to kids and signing a pair of sneakers. Later in the video, we get to meet the people, kids playing basketball, kicking it in the laundromat and living their everyday lives.
