Deron Williams is back home in Dallas, his wife is happy, his kids are happy and the Brooklyn Nets are happy because Deron Williams is somewhere else and don’t have to pay his stupidly large salary.
But Deron will have the last laugh because he is selling his TriBeCa penthouse for a whopping $33.5 Million.
We hear Williams is putting the 6,800-square-foot apartment, which he bought for $15.8 million through Town Residential in 2013, on the market with Douglas Elliman’s Andrew Azoulay — for an eye-popping $33.5 million.
The Merchants House loft at 35 North Moore St. comes with six bedrooms, and was customized by Williams — who is the Dallas Mavericks’ new starting point guard — “from top to bottom.”
The home boasts a floating staircase and a climate-controlled wine room.
A floating staircase. Really? For real? And I don’t even drink wine but imagine if you can put your beer in there and it’s always ice cool?
But alas, I do not have $33.5 Million. Nor do I want to buy a TriBeCa penthouse for $33.5 Million. But then again it does look like a nice place to have a small party, maybe a New Years celebration. You know what? Who has $34 Million I’m going for this prime property.
