Denzel Washington is one of the greatest actors of all time. He’s crafted iconic character after iconic character for more than three decades and from the looks of the ‘Roman J. Israel, Esq.’ trailer, he might have just done it again. From the brief look at the film from the trailer, we see a fully realized character who I already feel like I know. He’s quick-witted, tough and conflicted. He’s obviously got his very own specific worldview but when confronted by change head-on it looks as if he’ll be forced to choose whether or not what he’s been fighting for his whole life is truly worthwhile.
