Denzel Curry is in full blown album mode. After releasing “Percs” a few weeks ago, Denzel Curry has come back with some more music. Earlier today, Curry made his much anticipated album, TA1300, available for pre-order on iTunes. Curry also let fans know that the project would be released later this month and it would rolled out in three separate installments. To top it all off, Curry returned to release a new single called “Clout Cobain”.
On the record, Curry definitely gives fans the feeling that he’s been hard at work over the past few months. Curry opens one of his darkest records to date by rapping, “I don’t even know what to feel. They don’t even know what’s real. There’s dry tears with a dollar bill. I’m out trying make a million. Why you wanna take my soul? I’m yelling out. Hell no! I can’t even trust my friends. Most of them might be foes.”
In addition to dropping new music, Curry also dropped new visuals for his newest song. Directed by Zev Deans, Curry’s newest video portrays the struggle that many artists deal with as they balance being true to themselves and staying up to date with current trends. Curry finds himself in the middle of a drug influenced, dark, twisted circus as he attempts to survive. The video definitely ranks up there as one of the best so far this year.
If you’re anticipating Curry’s newest body of work, you’ll have the chance to see him perform “Clout Cobain” live. Curry will be embarking on the TA1300 tour on August 26th before stopping in San Francisco, Detroit, Boston, Tampa, Orlando and Houston before ending the North American leg of the tour in Albuquerque. Curry will also go overseas in the near future as well.
