Denver Nuggets currently stand at 20-39 this season. The team was coming into the season relatively healthy and some had high hopes for a playoff push for the Nuggets.
Now it seems like the Denver Nuggets have relieved Shaw of his duties as head coach.

Shaw had a 56-85 record with the Nuggets over the last 2 seasons and he just didn’t produce with a talented group. The players were at the point of no return when they were breaking huddles saying ‘1,2,3…6 weeks!’ eluding to the amount of time remaining in the regular season.
There was problems with the players and Shaw all season with trades talks all year, to Shaw talking about his players purposely losing and players having issues about the way Shaw handled the games.
Now it’s all over. The interesting thing will be how the organization handles the different personalities and players they possess because there has not been good vibes in Denver in the last 2 seasons.
Shaw is the third coach to be fired this season. Sacramento Kings relieved Mike Malone of his duties early in the season and Orlando Magic fired their head coach, Jacque Vaughn, before the All-Star break.
