Denver Nuggets Blowout Miami Heat 102-82, Heat Drop 5 Of Last 6
The Denver Nuggets were able to impose their will and energy on a spent Miami Heat team to take a 102-82 victory at home on Wednesday night. Wilson Chandler had a team-high 17 points for Denver, who also got 44 points from their bench led by Kenneth Faried’s 13. Four Nuggets players scored in double figures. Chris Bosh led the Heat with 14 points. Miami shot a season-low 36 percent from the field after winning in Phoenix last night.
Luol Deng tied the game at 48 going into the half, but a 31-14 third quarter in the Nuggets’ favor created the separation needed that Miami wouldn’t be able to close. Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh combined for 24 points on just 9-for-27 shooting, and outside production for the Heat was slim.
Both the Heat and the Nuggets move to 10-12 on the season.
