Oklahoma City Thunder guards Dennis Schröder and Raymond Felton were suspended by the NBA because of their involvement in the altercation between the Thunder and the Chicago Bulls on Monday. Both players were suspended one game and missed the game against the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday. The reason for the suspension was that both players left the bench during the altercation and participated in it.

When the decision made by the league was announced, the Thunder coach Billy Donovan talked to the media before Wednesday game against the Sacramento Kings. He was disapointed with the decision made because he believed Schröder and Felton were peacemakers during the altercation. He was also confused with the period of time the NBA took to make the announcement.

Probably a Top 5 Donovan frustration moment, I'd say. Wasn't crazy or yelling, but clearly not happy. Respects the ruling, but has issue with the timing of the decision by the league: pic.twitter.com/0dE91S010C

Schröder joined the Oklahoma City Thunder this past summer as part of a trade seeing Carmelo Anthony shipped out of OKC. He’s played well in his mostly reserve role for the Thunder, taking Felton’s spot as the primary backup guard for Westbrook. Schröder has played 32 games this season with nine starts posting per game averages of 16 points, 4.5 assists, 4 rebounds in 29.3 minutes.
