Dende will be hitting the road this summer. This week, he shared the dates for his upcoming tour. Beginning in Los Angeles on June 4 at Resident LA, the ’95 Civic Tour will stop at the Sultan Room in New York on June 7 and Subterranean in Chicago on June 9. Shortly thereafter, he will wrap up the tour in Dallas on June 15 and Houston on June 25. Along the way, he will be joined by a set of special guests that will be announced as the tour unfolds.
“I’m bringing my ‘95 Civic to your city. [Are] you coming along for the ride?” he wrote on Instagram.
Dende is a 20-something musical muralist with the ability to put transform complex emotions into audible diary entries about love, hope, passion, pain and all of the things that keep us up at night. His last project, ’95 Civic, explores the way in which he navigated a tough, draining breakup. Four months removed from its release date, the project continues to garner positive reviews. Brian Zisook of Audiomack called it one of his favorite projects of the moment and Joe Budden featured it on his popular podcast.
“Releasing ’95 Civic feels like the last thing I needed to do to move on to the next phase of my life,” he told The Source Magazine.
“Although it’s a sad project, the time it allowed me to spend with A&R Mizz and producer Billy Blunt is something I will never forget. This is our best work yet.”
With his latest project out in the world, Dende is seemingly working on something new for his fans. As he makes his way out to London, the Texas native is already excited about the newest beat pack he received.
“[I] Just got a crazy beat pack. [I’m] writing on this [nine] hour flight,” he tweeted.
