DeMarre Carroll’s fall in Wednesday nights game was scary, and a gut punch to any Atlanta Hawks fan that has watched this spectacular season.

Carroll’s fall looked to be the end of his season, but the MRI today revealed no structural damage to his knee. He is listed as questionable for Game 2 which I wouldn’t be surprised to see Carroll miss for precautionary reasons.
The injury was listed as a bone bruise in Carroll’s left knee, and will be treated around the clock in hopes that he can go for Game 2.
Carroll did get support from Cavaliers LeBron James after the injury as he left the teams huddle to give him support.
Once Carroll left the game Hawks Forward Paul Millsap had the duty to cover LeBron James which didn’t go too well.
Even with Carroll having the injury if it still bothers him I think a 50% Carroll is better than the alternative.
Carroll is a free agent in the off-season at the age of 28 this may be his only chance to get paid in his career.
The 5 year veteran averaged a career high 12 points per game this season and is a key piece to The Atlanta Hawks success this season.
Carroll’s injury may not show any structural damage, but he seemed to be in a lot of pain which forces me to be somewhat concerned on his availability the rest of this series.
