
Ken Marino, Anjelah Johnson-Reyes and John “DC Young Fly” Whitfield have reportedly joined the cast of Candy Cane Lane. Details regarding the film’s plot are still unavailable to the public. However, it is clear that the film is being developed in Los Angeles and will debut on Prime Video.
Marino, Johnson-Reyes and Whitfield join a star-studded cast that includes legendary entertainers like Tracee Ellis-Ross and Eddie Murphy. Genneya Walton, Chris Redd, Robin Thede, Jillian Bell, Thaddeus J. Mixson, Danielle Pinnock and Madison Bell will also appear in the film.
DC Young Fly is best known for his work on the 85 South Show with comedians Chico Bean and Karlous Miller. As for his television and film endeavors, he has become a mainstay on Nick Cannon’s Wild N’ Out. On the big screen, he has also appeared in a number of reboots, including How High 2 and House Party.
Like DC Young Fly, Johnson-Reyes is also a comedian. She has put together six stand-up comedy specials and appeared in shows like Curb Your Enthusiasm and Ugly Betty. Her castmate, Marino, is a former member of Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Fresh Off The Boat. More recently, he appeared in HBO Max’s The Other Two.
