Yes! Teen Titans, thee Titans from Cartoon Network that DC Comics blessed us with back in 2003 then came to an unwanted end in 2006 is coming back. It’s being reported that the show will follow the Titans story accordingly and be led by Dick Grayson(Nightwing) as he looks to escape the shadow of Batman. DC Comics and TNT are nearing a deal for the live-action pilot to be greenlit. Titans will be taking a more grown approach in the series, which is why the teen is being ditched from the young superheroes. Akiva Goldsman will be the writer and executive producer of ‘Titans’.
Hopefully ‘Titans’ will be greenlit, which will add to DC’s TV universe as they are having huge success with ‘Arrow’ on WB, the upcoming ‘Flash’ show which is shaping to be great just off the pilot episode, ‘Gotham’ on FOX and ‘Constatine’ on NBC.
Below is a brief description of what the show will be.
Grayson emerges from the shadow of Batman to become Nightwing, the leader of a fearless band of new Super Heroes including Starfire, Raven and many others. Titans is a dramatic adventure series that will explore and celebrate one of the most popular comic book titles ever.
