For more than two decades, Goldenvoice has built up its reputation through music’s premiere festival, Coachella. This year, the entertainment group stepped out and put together a festival like nothing we’ve ever seen. With Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole headlining two nights of the event, Day N’ Vegas has set itself up to be the biggest event in music this fall. After spending a day in the beautiful 70 degree weather, it’s safe to say that Day N’ Vegas should and hopefully will be coming back for another year. Here’s what we learned from opening day at Day N’ Vegas.
Liked: Young Thug, Playboi Carti And More Added To The Lineup

Unfortunately, Travis Scott won’t be able to perform his #1 hit, “Highest In The Room”, in front of the Vegas crowd. However, he has some friends that will take his place. In his absence, Young Thug, Trippie Redd and Playboi Carti will take the stage as new additions to the Day N’ Vegas lineup. Adding to a lineup that already included Coi Leray, A Boogie, 21 Savage, Lil’ Baby and DaBaby, Saturday may end up being the best day of the festival. Only time will tell. We’ll let you know in our day two recap how everything went.
Learned: Lil’ Uzi Vert Has More New Music On The Way

One of the many highlights during the first day of the festival was Lil’ Uzi Vert’s set. Similar to his set at Made In America, the Philadelphia native packed as much energy into his set as possible. During his stage time at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds, Lil’ Uzi Vert did his signature shoulder roll and ran into the crowd to perform. To top it all off, Lil’ Uzi Vert previewed a new track. In a minute long clip, Lil’ Uzi Vert raps, “I’m Lil’ Uzi. I’m so juicy. My life is a movie.” It’s unclear when or how we’ll get this track, but it sounds like it’s worth the wait.
Loved: Dreamville is worth the price of admission.

As we mentioned previously, Dreamville CEO J. Cole headlined the festival’s opening night. However, he wasn’t the only member of Dreamville set to perform at Day N’ Vegas on Friday. EarthGang, J.I.D, Cozz, Bas and Omen all took the stage in Sin City. Short of an Ari Lennox performance, Dreamville gave fans everything they could’ve hoped for. J.I.D set out for his team to compete with T.D.E and judging by the looks of it, they’re right there with them. On Sunday, it’ll be interesting to see how Reason, Kendrick and more come out and perform.
