It’s been nearly three full years since Dawn Richard dropped her last solo album, Redemption Heart. Since then, the former Bad Boy artist has made her way largely in Hollywood. The singer and songwriter appeared in Rosewood and Atlanta among other smaller films. In addition, she picked up a check with Adult Swim as a content creator. Still, she has found herself coming back to music. Most recently, she provided guest vocals for the 2017 Dirty Projects album and now she’s back with her own solo work.
Dawn has dropped her fifth studio album, new breed. The new R&B project from the former Making The Band star comes with ten new tracks including the singles, “sauce”, “jealousy” and “new breed”. The new project also comes with contributions from Hudson Mohawke, Cole M.G.N., and Kaveh Rastegar.
