Davido has partnered with Puma to unveil “a collaborative Sportstyle collection, which captures the artist’s philosophy and sends a strong message of supporting others.” The collection brings together “Nigerian culture and current trends” through tracksuits, t-shirts, shorts and hats. When working on the collection, he said that he was inspired by the philanthropic work of his father and wants to use his work in fashion with Puma to encourage others around him to serve their communities.
“’We rise by lifting others’ is a quote I always loved,” Davido said.
“It means that as I grow, I want other people to grow with me.”
The release of Davido’s collaboration with Puma follows the debut of his fourth studio LP, Timeless. The 17-track project features Asake, Skept, Fave, The Cavemen, Angelique Kidjo and several others.
“Timeless is a body of work that goes beyond fashion and trends it’s an authentic body of work that remains true to my core as an artist- using my music to bring joy to my fans across the world,” Davido said.
“The songs you hear today will be just as relevant tomorrow, that’s why it’s timeless.”
Davido’s latest LP is currently available on streaming sites while his collaboration with Puma is available in stores beginning April 7.
