
The Oprah Winfrey Network is preparing to bring back one of its most talked-about series, David Makes Man. The original series is set to return to the network for a second season this June. OWN confirmed the news by releasing a short teaser on Wednesday.
“Season two finds David in his 30s, a rising businessman facing an opportunity that will change him and his community forever. The mounting pressure forces David to choose between the instincts that helped him survive or finding a new way to truly live,” the OWN Network wrote.
Alana Arenas, Cayden K. WilliamsArlen Escarpeta Akili McDowell and Travis Coles will return for the show’s second go around. Series creator Tarell Alvin McCraney will also return as a producer. Also, Michael B. Jordan’s Outlier Society and Oprah Winfrey’s Harpo Films will step in as executive producers.
Season two is set to hit the OWN Network on June 22. Check out the trailer below before it comes to the small screen.
