Dave East is gearing up for his debut release on Def Jam, Paranoia: A True Story. A couple of weeks ago, he dropped ‘Perfect’ featuring Chris Brown which we can all assume will be featured on the project.
East has been putting in work on a variety of tracks with artists from Fred da Godson to A$AP Ferg to Trae the Truth. He even had one of the standout freestyles to the ‘Mask Off’ beat. Personally, it’s a three-way tie between Joyner Lucas, Shawn Smith, and Dave East.
The last time we heard a full project from the Harlem-bred emcee was the Kairi Chanel mixtape. I hope East carries the momentum and keeps a similar energy on this project.
