It was clear that the Boston Celtics were going to be very active this offseason, whether the fans liked it or not. Before the offseason came around they didn’t have that outright star and the fans were completely fine with that. But on the other hand, they had to part with somebody, which was crazy because they loved everyone. I think it was just a case of not messing up the chemistry which is understandable.
But then they got Al Horford, who has fully embraced the Celtics green, chemistry in tact. Celtics fans are beyond content.
But Danny Ainge is far from content, he is not done and the C’s are still working to make their team the best it can possibly be.
“I think we’re not done,” Ainge said while clutching his iPhone in one hand, seemingly waiting for the next call that might lead to a deal.
“We need more shooting. We have some guys who are versatile and can play center and 4 [power forward]. We can use a stronger center, and those are the two biggest things. Maybe another ball-handler as well.”
Well. That was easy. You now know what they need to get as the free agency period dies down. More shooting, a ball handler and a brick wall of a center. Game on.
