K.Dot can add DAMN. to his list of certified albums.
Kendrick Lamar’s DAMN. has had a successful few months since it’s release. When it released in April, it debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200. In early May, the album was certified Platinum. Lamar also put together a tour featuring Travis Scott, YG and D.R.A.M.
Earlier this week, it was announced that DAMN. has been certified Double Platinum. The Recording Industry Association of America certified the album on July 12. DAMN. has currently sold more than 2 million units since its release. Lamar’s DAMN. tour kickstarted July 12 in Arizona. While his album has been a success, footage from the first stop shows the tour is starting off to a great start.
