Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert will miss an extended amount of time with a shoulder injury. His timetable is uncertain and the team has not decided if he will be placed on injured reserve at this time. He suffered the injury in the team’s first loss on Monday Night Football in Week 10 against the Washington Commanders by a score of 32-21. This injury could set the Eagles’ offense back some while he is out, but the injury is not expected to end his season. The main goal is to make sure he is available and healthy for the 2022-23 NFL Playoffs.
#Eagles TE Dallas Goedert will miss extended time with a shoulder injury suffered in the win over the #Commanders last night, sources tell me and @TomPelissero. Not a season-ender though. Injury added to insult on the play with the missed facemask that put him in harm’s way. pic.twitter.com/ndOPCiwKD2

So far this season with the Philadelphia Eagles, Dallas Goedert has caught 43 passes for 544 yards and three touchdowns on 53 targets. He is also a talented blocker in both the pass and run game and an overall vital member of the team’s offense. With Goedert sidelined the team will likely turn to backup tight ends Grant Calcaterra and Jack Stoll. Tyree Jackson could also be back soon from his ACL injury. We here at Def Pen Sports wish Goedert a quick recovery and return to the football field.
