Dakota Fanning will star in the upcoming movie adaptation of Brain On Fire.
Based on a memoir by Susannah Cahalan, the film tells the story of a 24-year old woman’s battle with a severe form of encephalitis.
In the book, Cahalan details how the diseases causes violent seizures, that made her paranoid and delusional during a one-month stay in a hospital.
Brain On Fire will be produced by Charlize Theron and her Denver and Delilah company.
Dakota stars opposite Jesse Eisenberg in the political drama Night Moves, which opens May 30.
