The cast of Hulu’s Wu-Tang: An American Saga continues to grow. Earlier this month, Lala Anthony stepped in to play the role of a young Def Jam executive. This week, Curtiss Cook Jr. and Gbenga Akinnagbe joined the cast.
Cook Jr. will play the role of Ronald Maurice Bean, better known as Mathematics. Mathematics worked as a producer and a DJ for the group for several years. He is also the artist behind the group’s iconic league.
Akinnagbe will portray John Gibbons, also known as Mook. Mook is best known as the first head manager for the collective.
Anthony, Akinnagbe and Cook Jr. join a cast that has featured Dave East, Shameik Moore, Ashton Sanders, Joey Bada$$ and Erika Alexander. Wu-Tang: An American Saga does not have a season two release date yet, but it expected to arrive on Hulu sometime in the fall.
