Actor Cuba Gooding Jr. has plead guilty to forcibly touching a woman in 2018. Gooding Jr. is not expected to serve any jail time if he continues to participate in a counseling program for six months. After completing the program, he is expected to withdraw the misdemeanor plea and plead guilty to a lesser violation of harassment.
Gooding Jr.’s guilty plea stems from a 2018 incident at LAVO Nightclub in New York. During a recent court hearing, the actor admitted to kissing a “waitress on her lips” without her consent. However, this is not the only time that the actor has been accused of forcibly touching a woman without their consent.
The star actor has been at the center of a number of forcible touching accusations within the last few years. In June 2019, he was arrested after being accused of squeezing a women’s breast without her consent. Additionally, he has been accused of pinching a woman’s backside at TAO Downtown.
Moving forward, Gooding Jr. will continue to fight accusations of wrongdoing. While he may have moved past this legal hurdle, he has been accused of raping a woman in New York eight years ago. After a default judgment was issued in the case last year, Gooding retained a lawyer to examine the case.
