Adonis Creed will look to defend his title against Anderson Dame later this year and it looks like the marketing forces at work have shared the first promotional poster for the showdown. As reported by Collider, fans have began to spot posters of Creed staring into the camera menacingly with the November 2022 release date on the side. There is no trailer or plot available to speak of just yet, but this is an exciting step for fans of the film franchise.
Creed III will mark the beginning of a new era for the Rocky universe. For the first time since Rocky debuted in 1976, Sylvester Stallone will not direct an installment of the film universe. Instead, the film’s leading actor, Michael B. Jordan, will direct Creed III. Jordan will be joined by a familiar cast that includes Phylicia Rashad and Tessa Thompson. Actor Jonathan Majors will step into the Creed franchise as Anderson Dame. He has already been spotted on set with Jordan and company and he’s spoken glowingly about working with the new director.
Creed III is set to hit theaters on November 23, 2022.
