On the same day that his Dreamville counterpart, Bas, released his latest single, Cozz has announced that he will hit the road for his next tour. The Compton native will kick off the fifteen city tour in Atlanta, Georgia on May 20th before hitting up Philadelphia, New York City, Washington, D.C., San Diego, Denver and Oakland. Cozz will wrap up the three-week tour in his hometown of Los Angeles at The Roxy. Keeping with the theme of Dreamville mentor, J. Cole, Cozz will also be headlining the tour with no features or opening acts. Tickets for the ‘Effected’ tour are now available through the official Dreamville site.
The announcement of the tour comes just two months after the release of his debut album, Effected. The Compton native’s debut project was complete with fourteen tracks and features from the likes of J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Curren$y and Garren. The project also came complete with a short documentary called Cozz: Effected, which takes viewers on a tour of Cozz’s old neighborhood and introduces fans to his closest friends and family.
