The 2020 U.S. Presidential Election is just under two years away, but there is a lot going on as it pertains to that race. Democrats such as Kamala Harris, Julian Castro and more have announced their intent to run. Other candidates such as Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders have hinted at running and Donald Trump is preparing to run for re-election. One of the major figures in the 2020 U.S. Presidential Election is Senator Cory Booker. The New Jersey Senator announced earlier this month that he would run for President of The United States. This week, Booker will be looking to push his campaign into overdrive.
Today, Senator Booker took time to sit and talk to Charlamagne Tha God and Angela Yee of The Breakfast Club about his presidential campaign. During the interview, Senator Booker talked about a number of topics including the NFL, criminal justice, his political experience and major pharmaceutical companies. This interview marks the senator’s first trip to the radio show during his 2020 campaign. Other candidates such as Kamala Harris and Kirsten Gillibrand are rumored to be making stops to The Breakfast Club in the next few months. In the meantime, check out the full interview above.
