The two sides are working out the parameters of the exchange, which could include cash or future considerations, sources said. The Clippers will not be receiving a player from the Cavaliers, as the trade was made to reach the required 15-man roster by the beginning of the season while saving 2.8 million dollars.
Sides are still working through parameters, but it’s essentially Clippers clearing a roster spot and a chance for Dekker to get a better opportunity for minutes with Cavs. https://t.co/aIYRLW2rAo

Dekker spent his first two seasons with the Rockets before being traded to the Clippers before last season as part of the blockbuster deal last off-season that sent Chris Paul to Houston.
Dekker averaged 4.2 points and 2.4 rebounds in 12.1 minutes per game last season. He will look to contribute to the Cleveland Cavaliers as they are looking to add depth to their roster after losing LeBron James in free agency.
